The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a learning co-operative of people no longer in full time employment. Anyone can join - all you need is interest and enthusiasm. No qualifications are required and none are given. Click here to see 'How To Join' on our Membership page.
The U3A offers the opportunity to share your knowledge, experience and talents with others and learn from them in friendly surroundings. Please use the links on these pages, and the Menu 'buttons' above, to find out more about our U3A and of those in the Sussex Region.
All of our Group Leaders and Committee Members volunteer their time and expertise to help our U3A to run smoothly. If you would like to see a new group started and / or feel able to lead a group, please contact our Groups co-ordinator, Alan Cooke, in the first instance.
This year, Brighton & Hove U3A celebrates its 31st year. If you are not already a Member, do join us and see what you are missing!

|Will you help to run our U3A?|
All U3A's are voluntary organisations and any Member can help to run them. Your Committee has some vacant posts that urgently need to be filled, to make sure that we continue to run smoothly.
You can see how we operate by sitting in on Committee Meetings, so why not give it a try; help will be provided. Just contact Fiona or Derek, or use the web-site Contact form on the Committee page and let them know you would like to help.
