Roman History

Our U3A course takes a broad-based view of the history of ancient Rome. It covers more than a thousand years of the Kingdom, Republic and Empire and is necessarily selective!

It’s aimed at anyone interested in this fascinating topic, not just experts but everyday enthusiasts too.
By ‘Roman World’ we do of course include Britain but also look at the wider picture of continental Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
It would be very useful for group members to have access to the internet.

Sessions are weekly until March 22. (Excl Feb 22). In the Peel room, Kemp Town Crypt.
