We are a friendly, welcoming group who walk 10-12 miles, twice a month, throughout the year. These are challenging walks in all weathers, at a brisk pace, often over rough or slippery ground. So good levels of fitness, balance and agility are required. And strong waterproof boots. We usually carry a picnic lunch and walks are generally accessible by public transport. From time to time we tackle longer trails such as the 100-mile South Downs Way or the 90-mile High Weald Landscape Trail in a series of weekly walks. If you are capable of walking 10-12 miles over rough terrain, contact the convenor about trying out one of our walks.
